The things you're about to ask
I'm not a numbers person. Is this going to be over my head?
–
If you can follow a recipe you can use Costli. You enter what you buy and what goes into each thing you make — that's it. The math happens underneath. Most owners cost their first three recipes in about ten minutes.
What if I don't have a storefront yet?
+
No problem. Systems aren't the reward for the storefront. They're the prerequisite. You need them now. Bad pricing habits don't stay small — they just get more expensive at the next level. Better to lay the proper foundation now.
What if I don't have/use a POS yet?
+
No POS yet? Perfect. Log what you sold in 30 seconds a day — and when the storefront opens, Square, Toast & Shopify sync will be sitting there waiting for you.
How is this different from the spreadsheet I already have?
+
Your spreadsheet doesn't know butter went up 14%. It can't convert a gallon of vanilla into a teaspoon, scale to a 150-cookie order without a math error, or tell you which product actually made you money last month. Costli does all four, and it stays right when prices move.
I sell on DoorDash and UberEats. Does that matter?
+
Enormously — and it's where most owners are quietly losing. Costli prices each channel separately so the commission is built into the number instead of coming out of your margin after the fact.
What happens to my data if I leave?
+
It's yours. Export everything — recipes, ingredients, costs, history — anytime, and keep it. No hostage-taking, no two weeks' notice, no lost recipe library.
I'm a cottage baker, not a storefront. Is this too much software?
+
No. Costli was built for baking businesses from one person up to about twenty employees. If you're solo, you'll use costing, pricing and quoting. When you hire, roles and SOPs are already waiting for you.
Can I try Costli before paying?
+
Costli does not currently offer a trial. Sign up, choose monthly or annual access, and review the price and renewal terms before completing secure checkout with Stripe.
When is Ellie available?
+
Soon, and included. She's the guidance layer that answers questions in your own numbers — 'how many grams of batter for a 6-inch round?', 'what's my most profitable product?' Founding members get her at no extra cost the day she ships.
How do I get started in Costli?
+
Start with one product you already sell: add its ingredients and packaging to Pantry, build the recipe with the quantities and yield you actually use, then create a Product with its extra labor, overhead, and selling price. Our step-by-step guides include examples and checks at every stage. Find them under Guides or inside Pantry, Recipes, and Products.
How do I get help or report an issue?
+
Use Contact us or email customersupport@costli.ai. You do not need to sign in. Tell us which page you used, what you expected, and what happened. Include the error wording and your browser or device if relevant. Never send passwords or full payment-card details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
+
Yes. For a recurring plan, open Settings → Billing → Manage subscription and complete cancellation before your renewal date. Check the confirmation and access-end date. Your access continues through the paid period. If Billing shows another provider, follow its instructions. If you cannot sign in or cancel, contact support. Not using Costli does not cancel a subscription.
What is the refund policy?
+
Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund an existing charge. Monthly and annual fees are non-refundable for partial periods, unused time, or underuse, except where required by law or expressly included in your offer. If a charge looks incorrect or duplicated, contact support with the charge date and amount. See the Terms of Service for the full policy.
What happens if my payment fails or I question a charge?
+
Check Settings → Billing and update your payment method if needed. Unpaid subscriptions may have access limited. Contact support promptly about a payment error so we can investigate. Contacting us first is encouraged, but does not limit your rights with your bank or payment provider or extend any dispute deadline.
What information does Costli collect?
+
We collect account details, the business information you enter (such as ingredients, recipes, and products), information from integrations you choose to connect, limited billing records, and usage and device information. If you contact us, we use your name, email, and message to respond; the form does not sign you up for marketing. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How long does Costli keep my information?
+
Our Privacy Policy describes how long information is kept and how to request deletion. It currently provides for deletion of live account data within 30 days of account deletion, with legal, tax, and audit exceptions; deleted information may remain in backups for up to 90 days. Canceling a subscription is separate from deleting an account. For privacy questions, contact privacy@costli.ai.
Where can I read the subscription and privacy terms?
+
Use the Terms and Privacy links in the footer. The Terms explain renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment disputes. The Privacy Policy explains data collection, use, retention, and your available rights. Contact us if you need help understanding how they apply to your account.
